DYNAMIC SOUNDS DISCO pride ourselves on the service we provide. It's more than just a disco to us, we are committed and dedicated to giving you the party and experience you deserve, what ever the occasions. We go to every length and measure to exceed all expectations required from a mobile disco service. However we don't expect you to take our word for it so we've decided to list the various options you have.

The following is not to be taken entirely literally and is a character generalisation. Prices mentioned are for standard weekend discos, 8pm - 1am(ish) within our local travelling area.

Option 1 - Sixty Quid Sid. Price range:  £50 - £100

Sixty quid Sid has bought some cheap lights, speakers and amplifiers and uses an iPod, a cheap mixer and a small CD player to play the music from. He doesn't have insurance, hasn't had his equipment tested for safety, doesn't pay TAX on any of the money he makes, and only does it for a few extra pound in his back pocket.

Option 2 - Mobile discos. Price range: £150 - £250

These are discos, similar to ourselves, that do the job because they have a passion for music and entertainment. They have a full time job, and do this as a side line/hobby to earn some extra cash, but at the same time run a legitimate business. Using a hi-spec laptop and professional DJ CD players for the music, quality speakers and amplifiers, and some of the latest lighting available, they have a setup that will more than satisfy you and your guests. They have had their equipment tested for safety, and do TAX returns on the money they make. A lot of the money they make gets re-invested in the disco buying new equipment. What they charge is a fair reflection on the equipment they have, and the experience they bring to an event.

Option 3 - "Professional" discos and entertainment agencies. Price range: £200 - £500+ (Weddings Extra)

Usually a guy who started out doing mobile disco's who decided they wanted to make it there main source of income, while still holding down the 9-5 job. They buy expensive equipment, so they can say they are the best in the business, and then they charge more. On top of that, if you book them for a wedding, they may charge you as much as an extra 50%!

Usually they are no more professional than option 2 above, and in some cases are more like the person described in option 1. People fall into a false sense of security and think that if they are more expensive, they must be better.

Where does DYNAMIC SOUNDS we fit in?

Well we would probably have to be somewhere between option 2 and 3.

We use the same equipment (sometimes better) than the "professional" disco, yet we still have the passion for it, so you get all the benefits from the high end companies, but with the professionalism, enthusiasm and price of the mid range companies, i.e. we don't charge you extra for a wedding.

Remember as well that some agencies actually hire discos like us, and even Sixty Quid Sid, to cover events for them! The end result is the client has paid in the region of £100+ more because they never phoned us first.
